yarn bombing

this is a technique that was originally about reclaiming and personalising cold, boring public places and objects. opposed to graffiti which initially had the morals to either express, decorate, highlight territory, socio-political commentary and advertising.
Yarn street art although lasts for many months is seen as a more short term, easily removable alternative to graffiti. even though its easily removable its is still classed as an illegal act.
