Image manipulation

in this session we've been trying to create a ufo hoax which looks as if its from a 1970s polaroid. We started by going outside and taking photos of different landscapes and then we used a super macro lens to get fall detailed close up pictures of the object that we would then shrink to make it look like ufo. we then created a offish colour layer to go underneath the whole image. we did this so that when we grouped our ufo and the background together we could then allow the off coloured layer to go through. this will make it look aged. we then put the image into illustrator and made a background slightly bigger that the manipulated image to make it look like a polaroid. to make it have the weathered/battered effect i went to filter-render-clouds and then messed about with what colours worked best.
