Lincoln
When we arrived at lincoln it almost instantly felt like you weren't meant to be there and you weren't welcome. That assumption was then clarified when we entered the architecture building and was immediately challenged and told to go elsewhere. When we did finally find an exhibition which would allow us to have a look around lets just say the work wasn't my cup of tea, especially in the fine art department. the work looked as if it had been chucked together the week before the exhibition and didn't really look as if it had any reasoning behind it. Although there were a few things that were interesting such as, the interactive product design room which looked as if it wasn't in the exhibition from hue outside due to the darkness in side the room and the lack of advertisement to tell us it was part of the exhibition however, once inside it was very interesting to me and some of the techniques they were using gave me ideas for my own work. We then left the university shortly after.
Walking into central lincoln the vibe did generally feel as if it was picking up other than the fact that lincoln seems to feel like its built on a cliff side.
